Viddyoze – Is It Worth Buying?

If you have an interest in video editing or video marketing, then you probably would have known what a video intro maker is. A video intro is a short clip that is inserted before the actual video content as a way to make your video more interesting.

And in the past few months, a very impressive video intro maker was introduced. I am pretty sure you have heard of Viddyoze, and may even be like me, highly tempted to purchase the video animation software at an amazing price of $67 for its commercial licence. Well, of course it is not just a video intro maker software as there are other usage of Viddyoze but I see it primarily used as a video opener.

Take a look at the videos on its sales page…

Impressive isn’t’ it?

Here’s what it promises with its one time payment of $67…

Viddyoze Price

I was so impressed with its animated videos that I was prepared to pull out my credit card. Look at the list of benefits – it seems like a really good deal of getting more than 80 professional templates for use.

Lucky for me, I did a little bit more research by checking out what are the type of videos I can render. So I looked it up in Youtube and found this video:

So it turns out that the $67 purchase will do exactly what it promises, but the real amazing videos that you see on its website are not included, and to get them you have to subscribe to their monthly membership (called the Template Club) at $37 a month.

Oops…

I’m glad I did not make the purchase although I must say the $67 deal do have some good animations and if you just want to have a software to produce intro videos for your own videos, then this will suffice but if you are looking to produce some of the more awesome videos that was shown on the website, then you may want to think twice.

Anyway, I did some more research and found more upsells/downsells in the sales funnel of Viddyoze.

For example, if you do not take up the membership option, Viddyoze willl continue to sell you its other option – to own 15 video templates at a one time payment of $37. They call this the Template Pack.

There is also an option to be a trial member at only $1 for the first month. They also have a Masterclass upsell as well as a Done for you Viddyoze store for you to sell your animations.

All these aside, actually I was pretty impressed with Viddyoze and was almost ready to purchase the software but I was kind of disappointed at the way they presented the deal. I really thought that the $67 deal was all there is and although I was ready for OTOs (which unless they are absolutely fantastic otherwise I will simply ignore), I wasn’t really ready for $37 a month just for additional templates.

So for now, I think I will just stick to using Filmora for my video editing. You can also do a pretty decent video intro with Filmora with a bit of creativity and a lot of effort. Check out this video here on how to create a video intro with Filmora.

Having said that, I think it is all a matter of personal preference. I mean honestly, the animations that were shown on the website were pretty impressive and you do not need to have complicated skills with software like After Effects to render such videos so if you are still interested in Viddyoze after reading my post, feel free to get it here.
