T WO WOLVES

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.

He said, “My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all.

“One is Evil -  It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

“The other is Good -It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.”

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: “Which wolf wins?”

The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”

The story shows us a very true reality of ourselves. It reminds us that whether we choose to be good, or to join the dark side, is not a matter of environment, or situation. It is a matter of choice and how we make use of our given choice to choose which path to go. If you feed your thoughts with evil, the evil in you will win. If you feed your thoughts with good, then good will triumph.

The wolves will continue to battle. No human being is perfect and thus no one will be able to fully feed himself or herself with good thoughts all the time. But you know you have a choice. And which wolf (thought) will you choose to feed more?

I leave it to you to choose that for yourself. Meanwhile, I leave you this ebook Train Your Brain for you to further understand the Power of Your Thought.
