RIP #MH370. My Deepest Condolences

mh370

I was thinking of writing a blog post on something I read on John C. Maxwell’s book. Instead I changed my mind as I read through the news on flight MH370.

To be honest, I have not been following much on this as there are too many different versions of news on the Internet. All I hoped for was for the passengers to be safe.

Until last night when I saw a Facebook post by the Prime Minister of Singapore Mr. Lee Hsien Loong sending his regards to the families of the lost flight, that I realised that this time, the news could be real.

So I looked up further on my Facebook and for the first time, I paid attention to the videos, and photos posted. What I saw saddened me.

I guess there is no need to describe what I saw here. It’s everywhere on the net.

However, one of the photos I came across is a photo of the people on board MH370. I paid special attention to the one in the red circle below.

MH370

I started to ponder what had gone through the mind of the father and the child when faced with a life threatening situation. Honestly, nobody knows what situation they had gone through as there is still no official report of what exactly happened. But I began to imagine what went through their minds, and I began to put myself in the father’s shoes.

What was he thinking? What was he doing? What was he saying to his daughter?

As I thought, tears rolled down my eyes. I could not bring myself to imagine further, as I felt the pain he was going through. I felt the pain the passengers’ families are going through. It was really painful.

Whatever really happened nobody knows. But I know that it is pointless to blame anyone. No one wanted this to happen and I must say the people who extended help in finding the plane are the real heroes, even though there is yet any positive outcome.

All I can do is to say a silent prayer, a prayer that there is still a glimpse of hope that there can be a miracle. A prayer that can only hope to be answered.

R.I.P MH370. My deepest condolences.

This blog post is dedicated to all the missing members of flight MH370 and their family members. Have faith and be strong.
