I am really excited as I have created a website for my colleague using NVU, a free html editor.
I am really a novice when it comes to creating a webpage although I know how to create a blog using WordPress.
Nevertheless, I now know how easy it can be to use NVU for website creation and I will be testing it out for my squeeze page. The best thing is, there are tutorials available to guide you along and this is especially useful for newbie like me.
To share more,
Nvu (pronounced “N-view,” for a “new view”) is a free, open source software program that allows you to build websites and web pages using a simple WYSIWYG editor (what-you-see-is-what-you-get).
Nvu makes creating web pages as easy as using a word processor and rivals such programs as Adobe’s Dreamweaver and Microsoft’s Expression Web, only for free!
Go download your own NVU at http://net2.com/nvu/download.html

Nvu is a dead project. Its development has been stopped right after the 1.0 release in 2005.
KompoZer is the continuation of the Nvu project. KompoZer 0.7 fixes many bugs in Nvu 1.0, and KompoZer 0.8 (currently in beta) adds a lot of features.

Thanks Kazé for the information. I feel so backdated now. I am going to download KompoZer and start experimenting with it soon.
