Millionaire Mind Intensive March 2014

I have just finished attending T. Harv Eker’s Millionaire Mind Intensive seminar for March 2014. What is different this time is I am participating as a crew member.

I first attend Millionaire Mind Intensive back in 2011. Looking back, I remember experiencing new concepts and perception of wealth and money and was pretty amazed at how my relation to money was. It was great learning.

I believe that everything happens for a good reason. My friend, Jack Wong, sent out an invitation for free MMI tickets in Feb 2014 and I responded late, so he offered me an opportunity to be part of the crew that hosts this event. Of course I said yes, because this is a great opportunity for me to learn. This post is to share what I have learned these three days.

The main difference between participating MMI as a participant and as crew is I can go through the same process but see things from a different perspective.

As a participant back in 2011, I was pretty involved. I said pretty involved because I can choose which segments of the training I want to be involved in. This includes the amount of attention I pay to the speaker when they are speaking, the percentage of participation and effort I choose to put in for the activities involved, and basically, how much I want to absorb is entirely up to me. Of course, as Harv puts it to everyone in the training, How You Play Your Game In Here Is How You Play Your Life Out There. I simply did the best I could.

As a crew member, however, it is different. As a crew, I had to be ready. The whole event will not be smooth if it is not for the staff and the crew members’ commitment to make it a success. Everyone plays an important role and so our attitude towards the event is entirely different. I am certain that while I am there to learn, I also have to do my best to ensure the participants are getting the best training they can.

Apart from learning about crew duties, I made it an extra effort to learn from the people in the training, especially during the activities. I observed their behavior, movements, attitudes and interactions. There were many interesting lessons learned simply by observing people. Because of the nature of Millionaire Mind Intensive seminar, I shall not disclose the activities here because to anyone who is reading this post, I encourage you to attend one on your own to experience it yourself.

What I can share though is I observed different people took the program with different attitudes. Some were there to really learn about their relationship with money and they were serious about improving their financial health. Some were just there to network with others. Perhaps they are in the business of networking but I observed some people were just there to ‘hunt’ for people. Some of the participants have demonstrated leadership capabilities in the activities, while some are always waiting for others to lead. It is very interesting for me as I relate this into my own life.

Anyway, 2014 March Millionaire Mind Intensive had brought back some good memories to me. It had been a long three years since I last attended and I reflect upon myself how have I changed over these three years. The journey was an interesting one.

I have also met some new friends there. Some young, some not so young (although not old) and it was great interacting with these new friends. In fact, if I am not wrong, I am the second oldest participating crew there (apart from my friend Jack). Some of my new friends include people from Myanmar, Vietnam and the Philippines. They are very nice people.MMI_Crew

I also had the opportunity to see Mr. Richard Tan, owner of Success Resources (the company hosting this event) and he is a very humble and down to earth person. Richard is a very successful person and I do wish that one day, I can have the opportunity to speak and learn from him and perhaps, to work with him.

2014 Millionaire Mind Intensive is a very rewarding event for me. Again to those reading this post, if you have not been to one, I strongly encourage you to find one nearest to your home and sign up for it.
