Anyway, still having fun with Photoshop lesson. Thinking of signing up for Advance Photoshop and subsequently Illustrator and Fireworks. Costs are adding up. In Wealthy Academy, I’m now learning on niche selection. Ideas are running wild but eventually, I feel kinda restricted by the amount of knowledge I know in the niches I choose. I’ve also started a ‘slimming program’ about a month back. Results are starting to show (tummy getting smaller). It’s a 3-month program and hopefully by end of third month I have very positive results to show. If interested, you may visit losingmyinches.blogspot.com.

Following the ‘destruction’ of my blog, I have taken the plunge to join Wealthy Affiliate University. Need to start somewhere and was considering between Chris Farrell membership site, Stone Evan’s Plug In Profit Site, and the Wealthy Affiliate University. As I strongly believe in starting my success as an affiliate, I’ve decided to go for WA.

First lesson was pretty basic. Introduces what is Internet Marketing. What interests me is the Wealthy Affiliate Step-By-Step Action Plan that allows me to follow its systematic approach to Affiliate Marketing. What’s more, in order for its members to fully understand what they learn instead of skipping all over the place, they have a ‘timing’ system to make sure that you stay focused on the lesson before moving on to the next.

I have also seen many success stories inside Wealthy Affiliate University. And I am sure I can be one of them, as long as I follow the plan and take action.

I am also taking up Photoshop lessons so that I can do my own web graphics. Have attended 2 lessons so far and I think I am in love with Photoshop. Ha ha…

Anyway, I have up to end of this year to succeed in Internet Marketing so there is not much time left. Really putting in my best to stay focused and achieve results.

One of my project’s blog is GONE! GONE! GONE!!!

Happened when I changed my primary domain. All posts have disappeared and there is no way of recovering. Devastated!!!

Maybe this is a sign – for me to get things moving. Blog not attracting enough traffic anyway. Too competitive.

Am going to start on new project…

Some updates:

Having been actively working on my projects for the last week. Realized that I have still so much to learn and improve. No further sales were made even though subscribers are still slowly increasing. Strange cos I’ve stopped my PPC campaign. Must be some organic results. This is also an area I have to work on to learn more about.

Testing autoblogging for my projects. Also joined Warrior Forum paid membership to access their private area. Lots of information for more learning. Perhaps too much and kind of needs some searching as it is overwhelming. Still, never a bad thing to have too much. Learnt a few tricks about Youtube. Pretty excited about it.

Last thing to update – I have not been committing myself to this business and seems like I am taking it easy. Have to shift my mindset fast. I promise I will dedicate 1hr every day minimum to this business regardless of learning or implementing.

Just came back from holidays in Maldives… Refreshing! Had a loving time with my wife… Cleared my mind on work too.

EzineArticles has allowed me to reinstate my account. Guess I have to be real careful with the articles I submit.

Also thought about where I am headed online. I need to really start making online instead of trying to make money online. Trip made me realize there are so many things I want to achieve for myself and my family.

Bad News!

EzineArticles just emailed me that one of my articles is having problem. Seems like the content is similar to one article posted on a website. To be honest, I wrote the article some time back and I did some research from both the Internet and books. Maybe when I rewrote the article I extracted content from that website unknowingly. I have replied them and apologized for my actions. Hope they don’t ban my account because of this. I will be more careful…

Meanwhile my list is still growing but I am not converting them into sales yet. Think ultimately I need to have my own product.

I will be going for a short trip with my wife and I am excited about it. Pray hard that my ezine account is fine when I return.

Today I have my first sale online. This is so exciting. Looks like my perseverance has paid off finally. I have 8 more sign ups over the past 2 days. It is slowing down though as keywords seem to be more and more expensive. Did some tweaking to my campaign to slow down my costs.

Continued learning from Chris Farrell and Eric Holmlund. Great lessons.

Think I may sign up for Chris Farrell’s membership soon. What he taught really works… Also will need to work on free traffic generation methods. Adwords seems costly for now.

So excited…

As I can only do this on a part-time basis, there may be days that I am not able to work on my internet marketing business. Hence, my ‘days’ are not actual working days. Nevertheless, I will work on it whenever I have the opportunity to.

I visited a feng shui master yesterday with my wife. Alas! The feng shui master told me that Internet Marketing does not suit my ‘chinese character’. This means that I will not achieve success in my Internet Marketing business or career.

What is Feng Shui? Feng Shui is a chinese ancient art and science that can be used in a large variety of things like: predicting your life, providing guidance, protecting your wellbeing, setting up instruments to prevent mishaps etc. As a Chinese, I do believe in some feng shui.

Having said so, I also told myself that I cannot leave my fate in a feng shui master’s hands. My future should be crafted by myself and although I have no result with my Internet Marketing business yet, I believe I have learned quite a fair bit about this trade. So, I will still continue to focus on this business.

Anyway, I have just joined the Warrior Forum, where Internet Marketers meet to exchange ideas about topics on making money online. I will begin to explore the forum for more information.

I’ve also finished video 16 & 17 from Eric’s Tips – How Do I Stay Motivated & Commitment (The Choice Is Yours). Both lessons are important as it reinforced how determined I am in this business.

Just returned from my two weeks National Service In Camp Training. Boy, I had a wonderful time with my camp mates. Caught up with them some already changed their career some had an extra child in the home and some changed their cars and homes. Good progress for everyone.

A lot of changes have occurred from the last time we met. In fact, over the course of these two weeks, I also observed changes in the company that I am working (although I am not there) and changes in my own home. Things happened, and did not happen. Whatever the case, I believe that changes occur for their own reasons.

Nevertheless, I have watched a movie over the weekend and picked up this line – When does change happen? It happens the moment you decide.

Yes, many of us knows that changes are needed in our lives. Some wants to change to lead a better life. Some wants to change to a better environment. Some just wants to stop smoking and some may want to change their boss (ha ha, just kidding).

Regardless of what you want to change, it stems from a decision made by you. No one else can make you change except yourself. And a decision is not a thought. It is an act, and this act will transform not only you but it will also transform changes around you.

So for those who have always thought of changing themselves or someone for a better tomorrow, stop thinking about it. Decide today and change!
